Having always been passionate about art and its therapeutic qualities, Kyla attended Rhode Island College and graduated in August 2016 with a Bachelor's of art focusing on studio art in painting. Personally, art has always been a strong influence in her life, helping cope with the daily stress of life and offering hours of peaceful relief. Understanding the beneficial qualities of producing your own art and having worked with the developmental and physically disabled population for over 5 years, Kyla set off to offer her paint class services to as many communities as possible.
Outside of work life, Kyla enjoys experimenting with different materials, working with watercolor, charcoal, acrylic and oil paints, markers, and as of recently denim and handbags. She has commissioned a number of custom pieces to family and friends as well as Julian Edelman, wide receiver and superbowl champ from the New England Patriots.
Along with commissions and offering local paint classes, Kyla also enjoys having the opportunity to display artwork in local exhibitions. Some of her work has been recognized at the Annual State Black Art Exhibit at the Atrium Gallery for the past several years.
Future goals are to continue living a life that allows her to share her love and passion with the world!
